Ocean Grove NBN Drilling Works

Drilling works for NBN infrastructure were completed across two locations in the Ocean Grove area in Victoria. The works required various drilling, trenching and traffic management techniques to be implemented in order to successfully establish the NBN along the coast of Victoria. The respective works delivery methods were:

Ocean Grove to Port Lonsdale

- 2300m of drilling & trenching in varying conditions from hard clay to soft sand

- Installation of P100 conduit adjacent to roadway

- Two road crossings included

Grubb Road, Ocean Grove

- 1200m of drilling through property on VicRoads easement

- Installation of P100 conduit

The works included the implementation of complete traffic management plans to ensure the protection of works occurring around roads and within residential areas.
